Job Title : Full-Time Year 1 Teaching Assistant

Location : Tamworth

Hours : 8 : 30 AM - 3 : 45 PM, Monday to Friday

This role focuses on providing support to pupils through small group work and targeted interventions, particularly those with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

Responsibilities :

• Small Group Support : Work closely with Year 1 pupils in small groups, providing individualised attention and support to enhance their learning experience.
• Interventions : Implement and assist in the delivery of targeted interventions to address the social, emotional, and behavioural needs of students.
• Collaboration : Work collaboratively with the teaching team and external professionals to develop and implement strategies that promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
• Individualised Support Plans : Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualised Support Plans for students, ensuring a holistic and tailored approach to their needs.
• Classroom Assistance : Assist in the preparation and delivery of lessons, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Progress Monitoring : Regularly assess and monitor the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to progress reports.
