Aspire Lifestyles is Hiring a Remote Product Director - Digital Media

The Aspire Lifestyles Director, Client Enablement & core Capabilities is responsible for managing all aspects of client projects, including product development, business requirements, out-sourced technology teams and project management. This position works closely with Sales and Client Relationship teams to ensure successful delivery of client solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Program Vision: The candidate will have a strong passion for digital product development and will be a champion for the platform and its projects, dedicated and focused on the long-term success of the team.

Communication: The candidate will have proven strong abilities to effectively communicate, upward to Sr. Leaders as well as with peers, clients, and vendors. The right candidate will also be a very good listener and create an open forum for communication on the team.

Product Delivery: Defines projects and features, leads teams collecting requirements, writing detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets in support of client needs as well as global and regional digital strategies, goals, and objectives to deliver successful digital products with high quality.

Product Management: Responsible for ensuring digital and technology projects are planned, managed, and successfully delivered from initiation through implementation according to company standards and application development methodologies. Secures required professionals, and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes. Manages projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.

Process Improvement: Aggressively identify opportunities for improvement and incorporate new product features on an on-going basis.

Strategy: The candidate will work closely with other members of the Product Management team as well Content Managers and IT teams to develop and support the strategy championed by the General Manager, Digital Engagement

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Desire to work collaboratively with stakeholders and teammate.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and projects.
  • Experience in deploying and implementing mobile solutions and consumer facing online/web solutions.
  • Experience through multiple complete product development cycles
  • Ability to gain a quick understanding of business needs, new processes, and applications.
  • Strong evidence of problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills and proven track record of implementing large skill projects to completion.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate technical concepts in business terminology.
  • Ability to deliver clear requirements documentation and user stories.
  • Work closely with the client, product management and development teams in coordinating tasks and deliverables.
  • Manage issues escalated by identifying resources, tracking status, and following issues to their conclusion.

Required Work Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in internet-related program and/or technical product management in a software applications environment
  • Must have experience and background in the digital online and mobile space, knowledgeable in technology trends and platforms.
  • Solid understanding of project management, methodologies, and hands-on experience in managing all aspect of project delivery, including vendor relationship management
  • Experience of agile or iterative development processes
  • Strong understanding of SDL
  • Experience of managing business teams and external client teams
  • Preferred knowledge with technologies: AI; CMS; messaging platforms.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Required Languages:

  • English
  • Other languages are also highly desirable.

Travel / Rotation Requirements:

  • Travel as needed.
  • Work office based frequently.
  • To work at other locations as and when required
  • This position can be seconded from time to time for specific strategic projects.
