The Position

We’re seeking a Director of Mental Health Services who will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care delivery and oversight of our team of Psychotherapists within Skilled Nursing and/or Assisted Living settings.

Qualifications:

·Minimum 2 years’ experience in an assisted living, nursing home or healthcare setting.

·Hold an active and unrestricted LCSW in the state.

·A completed masters in social work.

Job Description:

The Director of Mental Health Services plays a crucial role in leading and shaping our psychotherapy division. This dynamic position involves a combination of direct patient care and administrative responsibilities. The Director will serve as a clinical leader and work closely with senior management to ensure exceptional patient care and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

·Initially, the Director will be responsible for rounding on patients in a healthcare facility, ensuring high-quality care delivery and serving as a clinical leader.

·As the company matures and experiences growth, and a sufficient number of clinicians are on staff, the Director’s role will transition from direct patient care to a fully administrative focus.

·The administrative aspects of the role will encompass tasks such as recruitment, training, education, setting and maintaining high clinical standards, ensuring compliance with billing and documentation policies, and optimizing clinician productivity.

·The Director will continue to serve as a resource for clinical staff, providing guidance and support in complex cases or medical decisions.

·Additionally, the Director will be at the forefront of implementing strategies to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of clinical operations. This will directly translate to elevated patient outcomes and satisfaction, as well as an enhanced work-life balance and job satisfaction for clinicians.
