Positions are long-term contractor roles working with Early Intervention and/or K-6 students.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree.
• Must currently be a certified Pennsylvania teacher and/or be certifiedin Pennsylvania for special education.
• 1 years of special education teaching experience working with children with disabilities, autism, intellectual disabilities, etc.
• Must have current (or be able to pass) all required state and federal background checks and relevant clearances.
• Possible Covid-19 testing and/or vaccination required by school.

Core Responsibilities:

• Maintain a positive, safe, healthy, and controlled learning environment; ensure supervision of all assigned students.
• Direct activities of instructional aides and implement established instructional procedures.
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student assigned to the classroom and track progress.
• Plan, organize and assign activities that are specific to each student’s abilities.
• Discuss student’s progress with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators.
• Additional duties as assigned by school administration.
