Aspire Educational Services is excited to announce multiple Special Education Paraprofessional opportunities within our K-12 partner school located in Morrisville, PA. This opportunity would be great for someone building and developing their career in the education industry or looking to gain additional experience in their field as an independent contractor.

Who you are:

• Dependable and genuinely care for children and are committed to helping them reach their fullest potential.
• Experienced providing support as a Teaching Assistant – TA, Therapeutic Staff Support – TSS, or Personal Care Assistant – PCA at K-12 schools
• Have reliable transportation
• Have (or are able to attain) required state and federal background clearances and training. Please note: All clearances will be required before hire.

What you love to do:

• Providing support in a learning or emotional support and life skills classroom
• Providing instructional support in small groups of school aged children
• Ensuring student’s safety within school building and surrounding areas
• Supporting student’s academic, social, adaptive, communication, and behavioral needs
• Utilizing behavioral system and providing prompts across settings
• Assisting teachers with preparing classroom materials or delivering differentiated instruction
• Transitioning students between activities
