Asphalt Green is looking to hire experienced Front Desk staff (desks are situated at our entrances and within our Fitness Centers) for both locations the Upper East Side and Battery Park City (see www.asphaltgreen.org for more information on us). We offer programs, classes, clinics, and camps to adults and children in soccer, basketball, volleyball, and tennis to name a few of the many sports we offer.
We have part-time positions available with specific shifts to fill. We open at 5:00 a.m. 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This is a good opportunity to sharpen administrative skills as you welcome members and guests, handle program registrations, respond to questions, provide directions, and maintain security. If you enjoy interacting with people and are a problem solver, this is the role for you!
Qualified candidates will have strong communications and computer skills. An ability to handle questions, concerns and challenges with tact, firmness and a sense of humor will be essential for success in this forward-facing role.
Qualifications
- Front desk/reception work history at a health club, spa, or hotel.
- Knowledge of Mindbody and/or Salesforce is a plus.
- A demonstrated ability to multi-task.
