ASPETTO is Hiring a Director of Operations Near Fredericksburg, VA

Aspetto seeks a Director of Operations with expertise in managing both government and commercial contracts to oversee and enhance our operational processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our operations are efficient and compliant with all contractual obligations. The Director of Operations will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and play a critical role in optimizing our operational execution across all projects, thereby driving company growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive Operations Oversight: Manage the overall operations infrastructure, ensuring that both government and commercial contracts are executed flawlessly. Oversee daily operations and provide strategic direction to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Contract Management: Monitor compliance with contract specifications across government and commercial sectors, ensuring all contractual obligations are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Process Optimization: Evaluate current operational processes and implement improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Team Coordination: Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, ensuring clear communication and effective execution of tasks. Foster a collaborative environment that can handle multiple projects seamlessly.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the key point of contact for operational matters, ensuring excellent service delivery and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and government entities.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify operational issues and swiftly implement effective solutions to mitigate disruptions to service delivery.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Regularly review operational performance against targets and industry standards. Prepare detailed reports on operational performance for senior management to aid strategic decision making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. An MBA or related graduate degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in operations management, with significant expertise in managing both government and commercial contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and familiarity with commercial contracting principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
