Duration: September 2024 Per Diem: $100/day (for those who qualify, rules apply) Mileage reimbursement @ GSA rate for Mob & Demob Meals & Lodging expenses reimbursed for Mob & Demob with supporting receipts Pay Rate Range: $60.00 (DOE) Work Schedule: 5-10s; Subject to Change Category: Start-Up and Commissioning The position will require the ability to verify installation, test, commission, and maintain industrial process electrical devices, equipment, and power distribution systems during all commissioning and operational phases of the project. The ability to understand drawings, schematics, and documents for the equipment to verify the equipment is installed, tested, and operating per manufacturer and project design. This position may require working nights, weekends, and periodic hours outside normal working hours as the project schedule requires. The ability to work with field engineers, owner’s personnel, construction, and team members to complete daily tasks. Knowledge of electrical testing standards, safety standards, and electrical code standards is required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Knowledge to assist with verification of industrial power & process plant electrical distribution and control equipment. For example: Switchyards, Switchgear and motor control centers, Various motors, Protective relaying and control circuits, Power & Distribution transformers, Variable frequency drives, and Generators.
Knowledge to verify installation, testing, commissioning, and electrical devices.
Perform daily tasks within the area of expertise utilizing safe, reliable instruction to provide required results.
Ability to work to a project schedule and complete assigned daily work to achieve commissioning goals.
Responsible for evaluation of all drawings and documents, including vendor documents, to assist with all required assigned tasks and provide corrections as necessary to ensure all documents are updated for completeness, detail, and accuracy.
Coordinates with project supervision or field engineer to complete as-built drawings and documents.
Assist with electrical checks/testing or documents per industry standards and project-specific requirements.
