Aspen Medical has an exciting opportunity for a motivated, results-oriented Certified Nursing Assistant to partner with us in providing medical services to UN sponsored Kenyan Peacekeepers and US Government staff at a field hospital in Port Au Prince, Haiti. This will be a deployed, rotational contract, ideally with a 3-month on, 1-month off rotation cycle.

The team will be based in a secure, purpose-built camp and hospital facility in Port au Prince, Haiti, and all service delivery requirements will be conducted within the confines of that facility. All support services are being provided by the US Government, including camp facilities and basic life support requirements, including travel, meals, accommodation, internet, and other ancillary support services. 

Aspen Medical will provide a Level 2 Field Hospital with EMS, Pre-Hospital Care, Surgical, Diagnostic and Laboratory, and other ancillary services. All clinic service delivery services will be provided in accordance with US clinical standards and compliance measures. 

Requirements:

Citizenship 

• All Aspen Medical staff must be US citizens or Green Card holders. 
• Sponsorship will not be available.

Education:

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency. 

• Completion of all requirements necessary for graduation from an established, state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program. 

Certification: 

• Current, valid American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). 

License/Registration/Certificate: 

• Must hold a current, valid, unrestricted Certified Nursing Assistant license in one of the U.S. states, territories, commonwealths, or the District of Columbia. 

Experience:

• Minimum one (1) year of recent experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant. 

This position will be a 1099 contractor, with a fixed daily rate while on rotation. You will not receive pay while off rotation.
