ASPEN CONTRACTING is Hiring a Computer Technician Near Lees Summit, MO
Weekly Hours: Full Time M-F (Onsite)
Hourly Wage: $17-20 per hour (Based off experience)
Responsibilities
- Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers.
- Troubleshoot network & system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality.
- Maintaining and updating computer software and hardware.
- Servicing office equipment like printers and IT networks
- Ensuring that internet security software runs without interruptions.
- Analyzing IT problems within a department keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference.
- Installing new IT equipment and software.
- Testing and implementing new software programs for the company.
- Set up/Take down/Perform routine preventative maintenance on desktops.
- Keep track of inventory/order inventory to ensure appropriate stock is in the office.
- Document all technical procedures and user guides.
- IOS/iPad Troubleshooting, both remotely and in person
- Arrange maintenance sessions to discover and mend inefficiencies.
- Offer timely assistance with deskside support, as well as assisting field employees through remote access software.
- Proven experience as computer technician or similar role
- AA/AS or BSc/BA in Computer Science, engineering, or relevant field (Preferred)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A ) will be an advantage (Preferred)
- Thorough knowledge of Azure, Office 365, computer systems and IT components
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a team
