What You'll Do
This role will primarily be responsible for supporting Asmodee North America’s business by performing analysis related to working capital efficiency, long term cash forecasting and budgeting as well as customer and product profitability.
Essential Functions
- Analyze net working capital metrics (DPO, DSO, DIO) and work with local CFO/Group Treasury on improvement plans.
- Preparation of cashflow budgets and forecasts with a focus on working capital and capex.
- Assist with compilation of cost and revenue data for preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Support monthly reporting process by identifying variance drivers and working with key stakeholders to determine impacts on full year operating budget and forecast with a focus on Free Cashflow.
- Financial modeling related to customer profitability, specific analysis on “deal buy” transactions related to specific purchases, and other ad hoc financial support for business teams.
- Analysis & modeling of various business initiatives on key working capital metrics.
- Act as a resource to department heads regarding accounting issues, reporting and analysis.
- Prep for monthly meetings with department heads to review prior month’s results and allow for forecasting of any future spending that will result in a significant departure from the budget or forecast.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred but not required
Minimum Qualifications
- Unwavering attention to detail.
- Ability to ask questions clearly and confidently.
- Willingness to voice concerns and suggestions for process improvements.
- Ability to work both with a team and independently.
- Advanced Excel skills in addition to experience in PowerPoint and Word.
- Comfort in learning new ERP processes; experience with Microsoft Business Central (BC) and Power BI reporting a plus
- Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
