Job Title: Event Security Employment Type: Part-time Facility: SNHU ArenaLocation: Manchester, NH POSITION: Event Security DEPARTMENT: Operations FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has immediate openings for Event Security Guards at the SNHU Arena, Manchester, NH 03101. These are part time, event related positions. No set schedules or hours. POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for patrolling all areas of property and security doors, ensuring the safety of all guests, employees and contract labor while on premises; securing property during move in/out of events. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Secures property Locks and unlocks facility doors Conduct routine property walks Direct guests through metal detectors, to seats or other locations Responds to emergency situations Interacts with the public and all levels of management and fellow employees Secured the safety of all individuals on the premises Appropriately deals with 'unruly' people Works independently, and judges and assesses situations for immediate response SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED required SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to work with minimal supervision Strong customer service skills Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills required; ability to interact with all levels of staff including management Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends and holidays, as needed Must be able to speak, read and write English Must have professional attitude and appearance Must be at least 18 years old PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
