Job Title: Lead Conversion Department: Conversion Reports To: Conversion Manager FLSA Status: Non-exempt SALARY: $22.00 an hour ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Lead Conversion Crew Member at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center. This position is responsible for the set-up and clearing out of halls, arenas, theaters, and meeting rooms, ensuring equipment is in working condition. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Move tables, chairs, risers, bleachers, booths, staging, ramps, and other furniture to user areas and back to appropriate storage areas as required. Follow established methods and procedures for set-ups and equipment use. Report any evidence of property damage or vandalism. Ensure all job assignments are completed during events or shifts. Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks unless released by the supervisor. Notify the supervisor if equipment needs repair or supplies are low. Provide positive guest service at all times. Follow the facility dress code and grooming standards. Follow established safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment. Attend and adhere to the policies established by ASM Global and the Event Services Department. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Previous related experience preferred. Skills and Abilities: Good organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills. Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required. Ability to interact with all levels of staff, including management. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic. Ability to work irregular/extended hours, including nights and weekends, as required. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: No certifications are required. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers to move, handle, and/or feel operational equipment; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. This position requires work in both indoor and outdoor settings and may be subjected to adverse conditions.
