What You Will Do

Our Construction Supervisor is responsible for daily activities at a specific site. With a focus to ensure safety and timely execution of key milestones, the Supervisor will:

· Advises contractors of violations and recommends adjustments to operations

· Approves construction phases by conducting inspections

· Assesses and promotes safety at all times

· Ensures that the necessary permits are in place

· Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures

· Maintains project administration in a correct and timely manner

· Maintains project records which include daily diaries, materials notebooks, as-built plans, and pay quantity records

· Manages sub-contractors on-site and ensures safe practices are in place and maintained

· Meets operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic reviews

· Perform additional duties as required

· Prevents fines and work interruptions by complying with and enforcing codes

· Recommends changes to construction plans to meet field conditions or provide cost savings

· Schedule, conduct, and prepare documentation for substantial completion and final completion inspections, including punch lists

· Schedules work and inspection phases with contractor’s and agency personnel

· Submit information and reports timely to stakeholders

· Takes field measurements on to verify contractor billing; checks placement of and performs quality reviews of construction

· Witness and document acceptance testing at various stages of construction.

· Works with management to maintain the budget by monitoring and reporting expenditures

· Works with purchasing to order materials and equipment

Requirements

 About You

· You are highly organized with strong attention to detail

· You can read construction blueprints and store elevation drawings

· You execute all duties with follow-through ethically and professionally

· You have 3-6 years’ experience working in the construction field

· You have an eagerness to learn, a high-performance work ethic, and a great sense of humor

· You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· You have experience with SAP or similar (A plus)

· You have Great time management and problem-solving skills

· You have proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects

· You have strong analytical skills 

· You hold a valid driver’s license 

· You maintain strict confidentiality regarding all matters concerning the company

· You utilize strong time management and organizational skills

· You work well in a team environment 

· You’re a problem solver 

· You’re flexible, a master at juggling and prioritizing multiple deliverables

· You’re proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel or similar
