Position Overview:

This is an entry level position. The Junior Recruiter will support the recruiting team to staff open positions as needed and will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent for both Ashton Woods and Starlight Homes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to the following)

  • Post and Manage job requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System
  • Work with hiring managers to identify, attract and engage with quality candidates
  • Source, screen, and phone interview qualified candidates
  • Deliver candidates to hiring managers in a timely manner and provide regular updates
  • Create and post LinkedIn content for open positions
  • Develop talent pools through ongoing recruiting efforts
  • Assist in the planning of recruiting events, including ordering and distributing supplies
  • Work with HR to generate offer letters

Desired Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Professionalism in both appearance and behavior required for greeting guests and answering and directing internal and external calls
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize several tasks without compromising quality of work or mission deadlines
  • Ability to review, analyze and interpret information as well as trouble-shoot to solve problems
  • Knowledge of Business English and ability to communicate patiently and professionally with both internal and external customers both orally and in writing
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
