Cooks with food service, restaurant, or healthcare dietary experience look no further and apply for the full-time Cook position at Lutheran Life Village's Village Inn Restaurant ! No more early mornings or late nights with the hours of 10:00am-7:00pm for this full-time position. Every other weekend required, Sundays only until 2:00pm.
The person in this position will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals to serve to our members. Ideal candidate is a team player who is able to follow recipes, providing sufficient quantities, and able to clean areas and equipment in the kitchen to the standards set by state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • One year experience as a Cook preferred.
• Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  
  • Ability to adhere to all sanitary / food service regulations.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Weekend, holiday and extended shifts required.
