Horizons HRS, Ltd. is looking for an experienced, trustworthy, and detail-focused individual for a Hydromat Operator Trainee for our client in Michigan City, Indiana.

Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements—changes and records tolling as specified on tool change charts. Safely loads selected bar stock into machines. Works with set-up personnel to solve machine problems when necessary. 

Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or malfunctions, ensuring that part is produced per specifications. Measures workpiece dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and various gauges to determine machine operation accuracy according to the process control plan. Your problem-solving skills will come in handy as you keep the machinery running and reduce potential gaps in production.

Mechanically inclined individuals with little to no Hydromat-specific experience are encouraged to apply.

· Working 10 hours 1st shift Monday to Thursday.

· Occasional Mandatory Overtime on Friday.

· Hours of Operations could change with production demands.

· Pay: Starting at $18, depending on experience.
