Retail Sales Associate

Key Responsibilities of a Retail Sales Associate include but are not limited to:

• Greeting guests and building relationships with them through conversation skills.
• Discover their needs by asking questions and selecting an array of options to fulfill those needs.
• Confidently close and finalize sales, utilizing trained closing techniques and attention to detail through all paperwork processes.
• Remain in contact with guests via call, text and email.
• Ensure a world class customer service experience for guests.
• Work retail hours 9:30am - 6pm, weekends and some holidays.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Effective and professional communication, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time while leading guests through the showroom.
• be able to create a custom room display for guests by moving small accent and furniture items, up to 25 pounds.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math and computer skills plus a willingness to learn multiple technical systems.
• Must be outgoing, friendly, easy to talk to and enjoy interacting with others.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize, organize and multitask.

Reports to: Sales Manager/Store Manager

Job Types: Full or Part-time

Shift:

• 4-8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekend availability is a must

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Work Location: In person

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
