Ashley Furniture HomeStore, the #1 Furniture and Bedding Retailer, is currently seeking a talented Marketing Coordinator to help grow our brand. In this role, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating, supporting and executing all marketing initiatives to support lead generation, customer engagement and revenue growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive creative briefs; work with agency or in-house creative to ensure final version fulfills objectives and meets all expectations, accurately and on time
• Support the marketing department's initiatives by planning, executing, and tracking marketing programs through such as email, event, social media, or content marketing
• Independently coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral
• Create comprehensive event checklists; amend as needed
• Understand and adhere to advertising budgets
• Assist in Manage brand exposure and reputation via careful presentation, planning and execution, ensuring all Company standards are met
• Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management
• Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voic
• Negotiate print contracts
• Work with out of home advertising providers to find the right boards, negotiate pricing
• Initiate all print and broadcast media placement
• Manage all digital & social execution (eblast, text, facebook, display, etc.)
• Manage execution of all direct mail projects (OTB letters, postcards, new movers, etc.)
• Execute catalog custom changes with third party providers
• Write TV and video scripts/storyboards as needed; coordinate production through all approvals and final upload
• Manage production of event playbooks with Marketing Coordinator
• Assist with special events and other projects as needed
• Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports
• Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness
• Conduct market research and identify trends
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees or organizations.
• General clerical duties, i.e. typing, filing, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business, or related field preferred.
• One to three years of related experience in business, promotional sales, customer service, or related field preferred.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
