Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic dental office and make a positive impact on the oral health of our community.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions and diseases
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical documentation systems (e.g., Dentrix, Epic)
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proven experience working as a Dentist, preferably in a dental office setting
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral diseases, and treatment options
- Proficiency in using electronic medical documentation systems (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex dental procedures to patients of all ages
- Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft dental software
