Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team AT VALEANT MEDICAL GROUP. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care and support medical offices in delivering efficient services. At VMG, we offer post acute care services at a variety of settings including Assisted living facilities, Nursing facilities, inpatient Rehabilitation centres and Hospice. This will be an opportunity to get exposed to a broad range of clinical settings and enrich clinical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

- Perform clinical and administrative tasks to support healthcare providers
- Record patient information such as vital signs, medical history, and reason for visit
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers
- Prepare and maintain examination and treatment areas
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information
- Schedule appointments and follow-up visits
- Manage medical records and documentation accurately

Skills:

- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Ability to perform basic life support procedures
- Experience with coding and billing procedures
- Strong understanding of hospital operations and patient care protocols
- Skilled in providing medical administrative support
- Capable of accurately measuring vital signs
- Excellent patient service and communication skills

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
