Full Time Nights Labor & Delivery Lead position **Eligible for $15,000.00 Commitment Bonus**
JOB SUMMARY:
The OB Registered Nurse Team Lead serves as a team leader, clinical resource person, role model, coach and facilitator for staff and department operations. Has the responsibility and authority to lead their work group; resolve routine issues, and create a positive, productive, and fiscally responsible work unit.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduate of school of professional nursing of an accredited college.
Experience: Three years in Labor and Delivery nursing required.
License/Certifications:
Obtain CPR, and as needed ACLS, PALS, NRP, FHM and Stable certifications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provides direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. In addition to general nursing care, responsibilities of the RN include (but are not limited to):
Must be willing to receive all required vaccinations (i.e., flu shot, etc.). All new employees working must be fully vaccinated as a condition of employment (unless the new hire has requested and received an exemption). Candidates for employment will be notified of this policy requirement prior to the start of employment. After receiving an offer of employment, new employees must provide proof of vaccination or request and receive an exemption before beginning work.
