Hours: General Office Hours, Mon. - Fri. | No Supervisory Responsibilities | No Travel | Pay commensurate with experience

JOB SUMMARY:

The Human Resource Partner serves as the liaison to human resource needs. This individual will support team members and leaders in accomplishing needed team member life cycle functions in a way that supports our team members, mitigates risk, educates our team, and strengthens the position of HR in the organization.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of office, business, or administrative experience required.
  • Previous Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Associate Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Suite knowledge and experience required.
  • Knowledge of North Carolina labor laws preferred.
  • Previous experience in use of human resource systems to maintain Human Resource records preferred.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Additional languages preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Provides human resource support to team members and leadership.
  2. Manage required documentation in team members records and ensure the compliance of those records.
  3. Assists in the recruiting process by providing support to manage the recruiting efforts of leadership. This may include job postings, screening candidates, and assisting leaders in completing all documentation necessary to hire a team member.
  4. Ensures compliance with licenses and certifications.
  5. Completes criminal background checks by date of hire.
  6. Partners with leaders to ensure the compliance of all job descriptions and compliance documentation.
  7. Partners with human resource leadership to report and comply with all regulatory requirements.
  8. Conducts exit interviews on team members to gather important data for leadership.
  9. Partner with other human resource team members to complete the onboarding of team members, which includes orientation.
  10. Partners with Human Resource team to develop and implement team member engagement strategies for the organization.
  11. Project lead, when assigned, to Human Resource projects that partner with leaders in developing, supporting, and executing key initiatives in departments to improve teamwork, engagement, etc.
  12. Will be assigned key strategies to investigate, develop, and present recommendations related to the life cycle of team members or the business.
  13. Keep Human Resource Director abreast of work at hand.
  14. Provides back-up for the Communications Center and provides a variety of secretarial, clerical and receptionist duties such as: typing, filing, data entry, keyboarding, copying, etc.
  15. Other duties as assigned.

Must be willing to receive all required vaccinations (i.e., flu shot, etc.).
