Ashcraft & Gerel, a growing multi-state personal injury firm with a 70-year legacy, is looking for an Intake Specialist to join our highly reputable team in our Charleston, SC office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, demonstrating empathy, understanding, and exceptional customer service throughout the intake process.
• Conduct thorough and detailed interviews with potential clients to gather necessary information and assess the viability of their cases.
• Professionally handle inbound and outbound calls, promptly addressing inquiries and providing accurate information about the firm's services.
• Assist in organizing and managing client documentation, ensuring all relevant information is properly filed and maintained.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys and other team members to ensure seamless client transitions and effective case management.
• Continuously update and maintain the client database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client experience and streamline the intake process, suggesting improvements to existing workflows and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a client-facing role, preferably within the legal industry or a call center.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in managing documentation and data.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism when handling difficult or emotional conversations.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft office.
• Experience with using case management software or similar tools a plus.
• Familiarity with personal injury law and the litigation process is a plus, but not required.
