We are looking for a Cook to join our team! We are dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents, and it starts with a well-balanced, flavorful meal. As a Cook, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive tasty and nutritious meals and snacks.
What you’ll be doing:
  • Prepare a variety of dishes according to the daily menu. We’re all about creativity and are all ears if you have a unique spin on a classic recipe.
  • Your cooking will impact the health and happiness of our residents. By following special dietary needs and creating meals that are both tasty and nutritious, you'll be making a real difference in their lives.
  • Maintain high standards of quality – observing each dish to ensure it meets our recipe and appearance standards.
  • Engage residents with friendly conversations and walk-thrus to ensure high satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by properly cleaning all equipment, work areas, walls, and floors. Your dedication to hygiene is vital to our community's well-being.
What you’ll bring to the table:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience with food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation.
  • Read and follow instructions, recipe books, menus, and food labels correctly.
  • SERV-SAFE Certified preferred but not required.
  • May be required to hold valid First Aid Certification.
