ASG Staffing LLC is Hiring a FMO - Mazak Laser Operator 1st shift Near Kenosha, WI
Job Summary: The FMO II – laser operator may be responsible for set-up and operation of laser (Amada Fiber optic laser with load, unload, and 8 cassette tower system) cutting machines to produce products meeting customer quality requirements. |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following with other duties assigned as necessary: |
Reviews job/production orders and interprets accompanying prints and drawings to determine job requirements, check for accuracy of information, and identify any discrepancies or special needs. |
Selects and/or verifies materials, processes and equipment required to perform assigned jobs. |
Adjusts fabricating machine(s) according to required set-up including programs as authorized. |
Physical Demands: |
Maximum lifting requirement (pounds): 100 (infrequently), 50 (frequently). |
Maintaining physical condition necessary for the following: Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, stooping, squatting, and twisting upper body; occasional climbing or sitting. |
Position Requirements: |
Key skills, abilities and knowledge: |
Basic knowledge of metal fabricating/forming practices and processes. |
Working knowledge of operating procedures for fiber optic laser, CO2 laser, drill/mill, lathe, saw, press brake and turret as assigned. |
Ability to read and understand job specifications, shop drawings, and blueprints. |
Ability to perform intermediate math computations associated with metal fabrication. |
Three or more years of specific fabricating machine (as assigned) experience. |
