This has positioned ASD as a trusted resource in the luxury segment of architecture and design. We have two locations with exclusive brands we represent. Our showrooms have been carefully curated to exhibit the finest tile and stone concepts in the world. We have partnered with Wellborn Wright out of Richmond VA, a manufacturer of the American White Oak engineered flooring.
We are currently hiring for our Hollywood location looking for a seasoned, talented sales associate. We have extensive contacts and relationships in the area, and we are looking for someone to join our team to help maintain these relationships as well as develop new business.
Job Description
- Design consultation and assist in product selections.
- Provide design community with specification documents, budgetary pricing, and sample deliveries as necessary.
- Visit customers and job sites as needed to provide product support and technical expertise.
- Build relationships with architects and design firms with the specified market. This will be done through product knowledge presentations, library updates, lunch & learns, and various events that can be scheduled at our showroom location.
- Document, track, and follow through all known project specifications from initial spec to order completion.
- Document and maintain project and sales activities through our company CRM system.
- Provide material quotes to contractors/subs as necessary for all projects in progress.
- Suggest VE alternates to specified products or competitors’ products as requested.
- Communication skills for effective interaction within the company and outside vendors.
- A well-organized and self-directed individual with the ability to prioritize duties.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Industry knowledge is a must, and we will give special consideration to applicants that have a background in design since that skill is so important in servicing our retail and trade clientele.
- Able to demonstrate showroom sales skills in a high-end work environment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
- Self-driven, organized, and detailed oriented.
- Must have a professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate & knowledge of CRMs (Stone Profits a plus), MS Office.
- Must have exceptional math skills as this position requires being able to convert different units of measurements and calculating materials quantities.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Must be team oriented and wear many hats at times.
- Must have effective communication skills.
We are a dealer of luxury handmade tile, stone, wood flooring and plumbing fixtures with 2 locations in the North Palm Beach and Ft Lauderdale area.
