Cassandra Admin | Denver, CO | Onsite | 6 months | C2C

Job Description

6 years of experience as Database administrator and 4 to 5 years as Cassandra DB administrator
Maintain and manage Cassandra production multi DC clusters
Configure and monitor Cassandra metrics
Optimize the Cassandra configurations and fine tuning for better performance
Experienced in handling Full and incremental repairs
Trouble shooting and resolving Data inconsistencies
Must have in-depth knowledge of housekeeping activities
Must have good knowledge and experience in Cassandra version upgrades
Analyze, Recommend and Implement best practices for Cassandra cluster designs
Experience in Scripting skills required for performing and automating DB activities
Basic understanding of GitHub, DevOps tools, ServiceNow
Should be willing to work on 24X7 operation model and provide on-call support on Weekends and off-hours in case of business need
