Ascent Evaluations and Counseling, LLC is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Hayden, ID

Ascent Counseling is a mental health office dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals seeking mental health support. We offer a range of services aimed at enhancing the well-being and mental health of our clients, including therapy, counseling, and evaluations. Our team is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals can feel comfortable seeking the help they need.

We are currently seeking a reliable and friendly Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office.

Responsibilities:

- Greet clients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor

- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner

- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for therapists and other staff members

- Collect and update client information accurately in our database

- Assist with billing and insurance-related tasks, including verifying insurance coverage and processing payments

- Maintain a clean and organized reception area

- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages

- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the office staff

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred

- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative assistant role preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience working in a healthcare or mental health setting is a plus
