Ascent Consulting and Engineering is Hiring an Environmental Project Manager Near Bridgeport, WV

Ascent Consulting & Engineering, LLC is looking to add new team members to our growing firm located in Bridgeport, West Virginia. Summary of Position:

We are seeking an Environmental Project Manager with at least 8-years of experience in West Virginia, Pennsylvania and/or Ohio. This person will help our environmental team with a variety of field investigations, permitting, project coordination, and assisting with overseeing the project life-cycle of a project. As a full-time position, this individual should have a focus in environmental sciences, geology, or environmental engineering with an understanding of environmental permitting and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, be detail orientated, work independently, have excellent written and verbal communication and work collaboratively with other team members internally and externally.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical reviews to environmental staff on reports, permits, investigations and regulatory compliance.
  • Performs management and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare analytical and technical reports.
  • Interprets findings and compares with local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Develops working relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Works cooperatively with Ascent managers, office personnel and other field staff.
  • Balance working in the office 60% and field 40%.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering or other related Physical Science.
  • At least 8 years of environmental experience, preferably with West Virginia, Pennsylvania and/or Ohio.
  • At least 3 years of project management.
  • Valid driver’s license with ability to safely operate a vehicle.
  • Ability to work in all types of outdoor environments.
  • Ability to lift, carry and load field equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Work long hours, weekends and shift work if needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
