Ascent Academies of Utah is Hiring a Behavior Specialist (Special Education Department) Near West Jordan, UT

Ascent Academies of Utah is now accepting applications for a Behavior Specialist in the Special Education Department. The position will be 40-hour full-time. Pay will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. AAU also offers a full benefits package to those who qualify.

Ascent Academies of Utah (AAU) is a network of charter schools that provides its students with a rich and individualized academic program utilizing the successful Schoolwide Enrichment Model (SEM). AAU’s network of schools combines SEM’s research-based strategies with curriculum and instructional methods aligned to the Utah Core Curriculum to provide students with engaging learning opportunities throughout the network. Qualified applicants should have a background in the field of student behavior. Prior experience in the behavior field is preferred. Certified BCBA or enrolled in a BCBA program is required. The salary offer is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Note: Candidate must submit for and pass a background check in accordance with Utah's Department of Public Safety requirements. AAU is an equal-opportunity employer.
