Position Purpose :

This position will be capable of performing all functions within the sales department, with a focus on proposals, plan studies, plan establishment kit (PEK) prefills and conducting plan establishment kit (PEK) calls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Generate proposals; create plan studies; analyze adoption agreements and prefill PEKs; provide assistance to various regions that may be experiencing high volumes;
• conduct PEK calls.; become proficient and capable of providing web demos via web-ex; provide coverage for incoming calls as needed;

assist with other tasks and projects as assigned.

• Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and / or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

Minimum Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience
• 1-3 years’ experience in the retirement industry
• 1-3 years’ experience in the financial services industry
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of retirement plans with knowledge of IRS and ERISA regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
• Ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Able to effectively render sound advice and judgment within company guidelines and ERISA rules
• Proficiency in MSOffice software applications, specifically Excel
• Customer service focused
