Responsibilities of the Nurse Supervisor (RN)
Lead clinical team during shift, providing guidance and instruction as needed
Assist with scheduling LPNs and RNs
Interface with staff and other team members
Assist with admissions
Ensure that necessary updates, reports and audits are completed in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure compliance with nursing and government policies and procedures
Inform patients' family members about medical procedures and doctors’ instructions
Provide psychological and emotional support to patients and their family and friends

Requirements:
of the Nurse Supervisor (RN):
Registered Nurse (LPN), licensed in the State of Illinois
Three years’ nursing experience
Supervisory or charge experience, preferably in a SNF
Nursing experience in a skilled facility strongly preferred
Strong documentation and auditing capabilities
Experience in a long-term care environment
Leadership and relationship building skills
Excellent customer service skills
Compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adults
