Our client, a global Am Law 100 law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a counseling focused attorney with minimum of 5-6 years experience in the Labor & Employment Practice of their Los Angeles or Orange County office. The candidate will primarily provide advice and counseling and policy drafting services to firm clients. The firm offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package. Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have a particular interest in compliance and counseling with strong interpersonal, writing and analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the desire and initiative to "take ownership" over work and career. Significant counseling and meaningful litigation experience is important, and wage and hour substantive background is necessary. Practice includes providing advice and counsel to California, national, and international employers regarding wage and hour law compliance, leaves of absence, employee accommodations, personnel policies, employment agreements, arbitration agreements, and other labor and employment issues. The ability to assess and draft employer handbooks and policies as well as work hand-in-hand with employers to identify and strategize regarding employment law compliance is a must.
The candidate must have strong academic credentials and be a member of the California State Bar.
Practice Summary:Our client’s Labor & Employment Group provides national and international corporations with strategic legal advice on all matters concerning the employment relationship.

The expected annualized base salary range for this position is $300,000 to $400,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
