Ascension is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Attorney to join our client's Ft. Lauderdale office, specializing in Third Party Insurance Coverage. The successful candidate will focus on handling matters related to bad faith and extra-contractual defense on behalf of insurance companies. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced legal professional to contribute to a dynamic team while enjoying the flexibility of a hybrid remote and in-office work arrangement.

Responsibilities:
 Conduct legal analysis and provide coverage opinions on Third Party Insurance matters
 Draft reservation of rights letters in compliance with legal standards
 Respond to Florida Civil Remedy Notices in a timely and effective manner
 Represent clients in legal proceedings related to insurance coverage issues
 Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes
 Stay informed about changes in insurance laws and regulations

Qualifications:
 Minimum of 3 years relevant legal experience in Third Party Insurance Coverage.
A Florida Bar License is required.
 Proven experience in writing coverage opinions and reservation of rights letters.
 Familiarity with responding to Florida Civil Remedy Notices.
 Excellent research and writing skills.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Work Arrangement:
This is a hybrid position, allowing for a flexible combination of remote and intermittent in-office attendance. Candidates do not need to reside in South Florida, providing an opportunity for legal professionals outside the region to contribute to our client's success.
