Greets patients and visitors,checks patients in and out, and obtains necessary documentation. Verifies and enters demographics information. Obtain and verify insurances/authorizations and pre-certifications. Completes medical record release requests ad schedules/confirms patient appointments. Collects co-payments and reconciles all daily reports and deposits. Scheduling patient testing. Work well with EMR system. Attentive to phones and etiquette. Provide general office and clerical support to assigned area.This position requires critical thinking, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. MUST be able to work in a stressful environment. CARDIOLOGY EXPERIENCE a plus.
