Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions and treatment options
- Assist with specimen collection, processing, and laboratory testing
- Utilize electronic medical record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks) to maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
- Participate in discharge planning and coordinate post-discharge care for patients
- Stay updated on current healthcare practices and advancements in medical technology

Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in [state]
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks)
- Knowledge of ICD-9 coding system for accurate documentation and billing purposes
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
