Are you passionate about the automotive industry and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Join our team as an Auto Parts Counter Sales Representative, where you'll be collaborating closely with a trucking company to meet their parts needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle parts order requests through various channels including telephone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of manufacturer and vendor catalogs to efficiently locate parts for customers, both internal and external.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations to customers regarding related parts and accessories.
• Ensure timely follow-up on backordered parts, keeping customers informed about their status.
• Maintain meticulous inventory control practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the Parts Manager to address any inventory issues that arise.
• Liaise with the Service Department to coordinate parts availability and pricing.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by offering tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients.
• Assist in additional projects and tasks as required.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in heavy truck/auto parts or related shop environment.
• Mechanical aptitude is desired, with a strong understanding of automotive components.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate and build rapport.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication to interact confidently with clients and team members alike.
