Ascendo Resources is looking to fill a role for an Accounting Support Specialist!

This role assists in maintaining financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting department.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders for payment.
• Verify and reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payment.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of financial transactions and related documents.
• Assist in generating various financial reports, graphs, and charts for internal use.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
• Other related tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is a plus.
• Prior experience in an accounting or finance support role is beneficial.
• Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Strong analytical skills for data reconciliation and financial analysis.
