Role Overview: As a Software Developer, you'll join a team of experts dedicated to crafting the next generation of blockchain-based Securities Lending systems. You'll play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation within the capital markets industry. Your responsibilities will include collaborating on complex projects spanning multiple systems, continually refining your skills, and fostering growth within the team.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 7 years of software development and delivery experience.
• 2 years of functional-based software development, with preference given to Scala or React.js proficiency.
• 2 years of web/mobile application development experience.
• Proficiency in two or more of the following areas: Unix/Linux environments, event-driven systems, transaction processing systems, distributed and parallel systems, large software system development, security software development, public-cloud platforms.
• Strong foundation in functional-based software development.

Preferred:

• 7 years of experience in application delivery methodologies, with the ability to apply them effectively to deliver new or enhanced applications.
• 7 years of involvement in application design activities, utilizing tools and techniques to translate business requirements into technical application designs.
• 2 years of experience with Scala and functional programming paradigm.
• Prior experience with packaged application integration, including integrating packaged application software with technology platforms.
• Knowledge or experience with AWS.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in web application development.
• Strong grasp of functional programming, object-oriented design, industry best practices, software patterns, and architecture principles.
• Robust testing experience, including the development of test plans, automated test cases, and utilization of test frameworks.
• Deep understanding of performance issues and multi-threaded development.
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools and techniques, as well as scripting languages such as Python.
