About the Role:

Job Title: Frontend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Develop front-end components using Vue.js and ensure high performance and responsiveness of web applications.
• Implement server-side logic using Node.js for scalable and efficient backend services.
• Integrate AWS services, particularly Lambda, to deploy and manage serverless applications.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure the performance, reliability, and security of applications.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve development processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong understanding of Java EE or Spring frameworks.
• Proficiency in front-end development using Vue.js, including Vuex, Vue Router, and Vue CLI.
• Solid understanding of server-side development using Node.js and related frameworks such as Express.js.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.

Location: Richmond, VA / McLean, VA

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $109,480 – $128,520 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
