We are a growing central Jersey Managed Service Provider (MSP) with a 30 year history of success. We are seeking to hire a Network Engineer. We work with medium and enterprise businesses throughout NJ, NY, and PA, providing IT support and management services. You will be engaging with clients daily. Job Requirements:

• Associate degree or equivalent technical certificate.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role - preferably in an MSP environment.
• Experience with installing and supporting Windows desktops and servers.
• Experience with switches, access points and basic setup / VLANs.
• Reliable vehicle for transportation.
• Basic Networking and Infrastructure Skills (DHCP, DNS, IP Addressing, Sub-Netting)
• Wireless Infrastructure Support
• Backup and Recovery Administration; Preferably – N-Able, Datto, Veeam, etc.
• Firewall Administration & Support – Fortinet or SonicWall
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer and support client workstations, Windows servers, and other network infrastructure such as switches, firewalls, WAP’s, VPN, printers, and more.
• Ticket entry
• Scheduling onsite appointments
• Work onsite at client locations.
• Build & Administration of VMware
• Create and maintain IT documentation

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Managed Service Provider Experience
• Experience with N-Able’s N-CENTRAL RMM
• SAN Management (NETAPP, EMC)
• Autotask Experience
• CompTIA Certification ex. Network , Server
• Virtualization experience with one or more: Azure, AWS, Hyper-V or VMware

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
