Quality Inspector (Manufacturing Industry) Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Essential functions are those tasks, duties, and responsibilities that comprise the means of accomplishing the job’s purpose and objectives.

• Create FDA compliant Nutrition and Supplement facts panels for product labels using Microsoft Excel.
• Review and approve product labels.
• Enter incoming raw material into Formulife’s database.
• Write monthly reports pertaining to environmental monitoring.
• Responsible for ensuring QC compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies, and procedures related to GMP, Environment, Health, and Safety practices, especially with regard to product labels.
• Document compliance-related processes and maintain records.
• Manage point step process review, label and materials review, and QA approval of documentation control, line clearing, and process deviations. Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Day Shift, 08:00 am to 05:00 pm
• Monday - Friday

Quality Inspector (Manufacturing Industry) Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

• Proficient using computers and all typical applications.
• Data entry experience required.
• Knowledge of 21CFR 110, 111, 117 preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe, Excel, Word, Power Point preferred.
• Experience working with dietary ingredients and subsequent analytical test methods preferred.
• Versed in QC laboratory testing (analytical and microbiological) and QA systems a plus.
• A working understanding of stability testing programs.
• Ability to follow and learn and develop written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Able to pass a background check
• Able to work in the US.
