Ascend Pediatric Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Front Desk Near Gilbert, AZ

Job Overview:

Our brand new pediatric dental practice is looking to expand our amazing team with an experienced patient care coordinator. We are looking for someone with at least two years of experience in the dental field. Our ideal candidate is friendly, self-motivated, innovative, hard-working and eager to help our team continue its long history of excellent customer service. The front desk at a dental office is a busy place so attention to detail and multi-tasking skills are a must! Our office has a warm and inviting atmosphere and we pride ourselves in treating our patients with compassion and the utmost integrity. Experience with Open Dental is a plus but not a requirement. We offer competitive pay based on experience. The position is currently part-time, Thursday-Friday 8-5 but we look to open for more days as we grow our business. Responsibilities:

  • Greet and engage with patients
  • Answering phones
  • Scheduling appointments and update patient records
  • Present Treatment Plans
  • Dental Insurance eligibility checks/ Working closely with biller
  • Open to helping and learning billing
  • send/organize specialist referrals
  • assist with claims tracking/processing/posting
  • print end-of-day production reports, A/R reports and other reports
  • coordinate patient financial arrangements, collect patient payments, follow up on delinquent payments or insurance claim denials.
