Ascend Medical Austin Texas PA is Hiring an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Near Austin, TX

Description

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of internal medicine and primary care, combined with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. The successful candidate for this position will be a collaborative member of the medical team, dedicated to providing quality health care and creative solutions for their patients.

In your role as APP, you will: 

  • Provide assessments and care via in-home mobile visits and telehealth consultations. That's right, we do house calls!
  • Acquire knowledge to diagnose conditions and treatment options.
  • Obtain, organize, prioritize, and communicate information.
  • Provide support and education to patient.
  • Manage patient's treatment plan.

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 8 & 10 hour shifts - various shifts available!

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an AMA accredited school for Advanced Practice Providers. 
  • Current, active PA or NP licensure in State of employment is required. 
  • Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Board Certification (Or board eligible)
  • Active, non-probationary, unrestricted Georgia State License
  • Active DEA license
  • 1 year clinical experience in internal medicine or family practice setting
