Description

 Ascend partners with Highland Rivers Health, Georgia’s largest Community Service Board (CSB), to staff clinical and non-clinical jobs in behavioral health. Being part of our team and working in a CSB means you’re helping individuals and families otherwise unable to access treatment from private providers to address healthcare challenges associated with mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and addictive diseases. You’ll be working with purpose to make a difference in the lives of people who need you most. Each of our jobs in healthcare will work in a Highland Rivers Health facility.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy. 
• Complete documentation (ex. progress notes, treatment plans, 30 day reviews, safety plans) in effort to ensure that high quality therapeutic services are provided.
• Attend weekly treatment team meetings and collaborate with Hartmann staff, community partners and family caretakers as it relates to youth challenges, progress and achievement of treatment goals.
• Provide referrals to additional C&A services (ex. stepdown) for youth returning home to other counties through Georgia through assessing and evaluating client needs, strengths, goals and resources.
• Intervene, stabilize and manage acute crisis situations and complete incident reports when necessary.
• Maintain licensure/credentials by completing all recommended continuing education requirements per licensing board requirements.

Requirements

Education – High School Diploma/GED

Licensure/Certification - Job related license (e.g., CAC1, CADC, CAADC, CADC-T)

Experience – Minimum one-year (1) of human services, social work and/or clinical experience with child and adolescent population

Must be able to pass an intensive criminal background investigation

Pre-Employment and random drug screening

Have an acceptable motor vehicle report
