We are seeking a skilled and creative Webflow Designer to join our team as a contractor. As a Webflow Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing visually stunning, responsive websites using the Webflow platform. Your expertise in web design, user experience, and proficiency in Webflow's tools will be critical in creating engaging and functional websites for our clients.

Contract Details:

Contract Type: 1099 contracting, we are not able to offer corp-to-corp or W2 contracting.

Compensation: $70.00 - $90.00 hourly, based on skills and experience. As a contract role this position does not include benefits and contractor tax is according to 1099 employment.

Duration: 2-month engagement. We anticipate continued contracting beyond initial engagement.

Availability: 15-30 hours per week. Must be available to start no later than August 15.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with marketing leadership and project stakeholders to understand website requirements, brand identity, and business objectives.
• Translate marketing content briefs and wireframes into visually appealing and user-friendly website designs using Webflow design interface.
• Implement custom interactions, animations, and transitions to enhance the user experience and deliver a polished final product.
• Optimize websites for responsiveness across different devices and screen sizes, ensuring a seamless experience for all users.
• Integrate third-party tools and plugins into Webflow websites as needed to enhance functionality and meet project specifications.
• Stay up to date with the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices to bring innovative ideas to our projects.
• Conduct quality assurance tests to identify and resolve any design or functionality issues.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and updates to websites, addressing any client requests or technical issues as necessary.

Required Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in web design with a minimum of 1 year experience specializing in Webflow.
• Strong understanding of web design principles, user experience, and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript, enabling you to customize Webflow designs when required.
• Adobe suite experience, including InDesign and Illustrator
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, project managers, and other team members.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet project deadlines.
• A detail-oriented approach to ensure high-quality output and error-free deliverables.
• Understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) principles and website optimization techniques is a plus.
