What we are looking for
AscellaHealth is seeking a Manager for our Project Management Office (PMO) to establish and maintain project management standards, processes, and best practices, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently. They will provide a critical link between the coordination of assigned projects and the organization's strategic goals and objectives. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this position will develop standard project management processes and capture lessons learned to streamline future projects including future acquisitions. They will also set and maintain AscellaHealth project standards.
The PMO Manager position is a hybrid position and will require regular weekly office attendance in our Berwyn, PA office.
What the position will be doing
  • Develop standard project management processes and capture lessons learned to streamline future projects including future acquisitions.
  • Set and maintain AscellaHealth project standards.
  • Support project teams and project managers while working with other departments to ensure that projects are coordinated and aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Develop, update, and maintain detailed project plans, deliverables lists, action items, risks, issues logs, and major milestone timelines for all assigned projects.
  • Create and maintain process workflow documents to support business needs.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional leaders and teams to develop integration plans.
  • Evaluate and manage integration risks, identifying and solving cross-functional integration issues or escalating issues requiring executive input.
  • Manage communication between stakeholders to ensure effective and timely completion of integration activities in alignment with timeline and budget.
  • Partner in developing change management strategies to ensure stakeholder buy-in and adoption of changes.
  • Support functional workstream meetings and reporting to ensure workstreams achieve targets and stay aligned with overall integration goals and objectives.
  • Document future state processes to ensure changes are sustainable.
  • Manage all assigned projects to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, meeting budgetary demands, and maintaining overall project ownership.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary; remain flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs.
Necessary Skills, Education & Abilities
  • A bachelor’s degree in a business or related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of project work experience; PMO and M&A integration experience preferred
  • Demonstrated successful management of technology, process, and operational implementations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to extract insights and tailor them to various audiences.
  • Customer service orientation with the ability to foster teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management tools (i.e. Asana)
  • Able to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources at all levels within the company, including senior management, department leaders, and departmental staff.
  • Ability to organize resources, personnel, and actions for the successful completion of programs and tasks.
  • The ability to present and communicate updates, risks, and plans is required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities and reprioritize to achieve critical milestones.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to be highly transparent, ethical, and driven. Relentless attention to detail, and the ability to be a creative self-starter and team player.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Exceptional oral and written skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, and ability to work closely with Senior Management
  • Ability to think and act independently, formulate, and support new ideas, and champion new initiatives within and beyond the scope of own responsibilities.

  • Ability to provide direction and motivation and set an example through open communication and modeling best practices.
