ASAP PERSONNEL SERVICES is Hiring a Mechanical assembler Near Grand Prairie, TX
We have an immediate opening for a 2nd shift mechanical assembler. Will be assembling parts to form complete units or subassembly using hand tools, small power tools, and other special equipment in addition assemblers may reassemble or rework units as required.
n nResponsibilities : nProduces quality product by assembling equipment, sub-assemblies, modules and top level machine systems, setting-up equipment in accordance with engineering specifications and procedures, making adjustments, and measuring to exacting tolerances.
nVerify conformance of parts to stock lists and blueprints nLay out hole locations and drills and taps holes on part for assembly.
nVerify alignment and tolerance of moving parts. nTest operation of assembly manually or with powered controls. nAssemble set-up and operate machine to verify functioning, machine capabilities, and conformance to specifications with wrenches, tools, calipers and gauges to accomplish task to each level.
n nShift & Pay Rate : nMonday - Friday 2pm - 10 : 30pm n$21.00 per hour
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to read blueprints
Mechanical inclined
Use calipers and micrometers
