System Developer ServiceNow

PLEASE NOTE: This is a remote position, however due to our pay practices, qualified candidates MUST reside within one of the following states: AK, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, KY, ME, MI, NC, NM, NV, OK, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA. While candidates need to live or relocate to one of the aforementioned states, working remotely will require reliable broadband internet and personal cell phone service. Remote work may include working day-to-day operations during Pacific Standard business hours or online training.

This position will be expected to take 24/7 on-call support for a week at a time in rotation with the other members of the team. On-call rotation will begin when the staff member and Team Lead feel the level of skill has been achieved to triage and support end user critical needs.

Position Summary

The ServiceNow System Developer successfully designs, deploys, and supports ServiceNow application solutions for Asante. Responsibilities include designing, configuring, customizing, implementing, and supporting the ServiceNow platform day to day to meet specific organizational requirements. This includes utilizing multiple ServiceNow environments to bring various projects from concept to operational status with few defects and a commitment to excellence. The ServiceNow Developer is part of a small highly collaborative team and serves as tier 2 technical support.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, information science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.

Required Experience

• 5 years progressive experience in the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience with administration, development, maintenance, patching, upgrade, and support of ServiceNow platform including sub-production and production instances.
• Update Sets, Glide Records and System, Service Portal, HIWAVE support.
• Working knowledge/experience in some or most of the following technologies: JQuery, AngularJS, SQL, JSON, XML.
• Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM components such as Service Catalog, change/Incident/problem management, knowledge, and release management, etc.
• Experience in the following areas of ServiceNow: Service Catalog, Workflow Editing, Report Generation, Performance Analytics.
• Performing day-to-day administration tasks and activities for platform product/services operations delivering ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM capabilities (including configuration).
• Troubleshooting and resolving tier 2 level production support issues for ServiceNow products.
• Design and implementation of complex process workflows using JavaScript, Flow Designer, Mid Server, and App Engine tools.
• JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and web service integrations using REST, SOAP, etc.
• IT Service Management and ITIL best practice implementation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in following areas of ServiceNow: Update Sets, Glide Records and System, Service Portal, and HIWAVE support.
• Experience or familiarity with Agile development and testing methodology.

Required Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is required upon start.

Preferred Licensure/Certifications

• ITIL Foundation v3 or v4 certification.
• ServiceNow: Certified Application Developer.
• ServiceNow: Certified Implementation Specialist, and Certified Application Developer.
• ServiceNow Partner accreditations and/or micro certifications.
